Job Description 

We are looking for a mid-level or senior PHP Developer to our Budapest office. Although meeting in the office some days a week is a great cohesive force, home office is also supported just like flexible working hours. We are looking for someone who likes to work in a stable workplace and prefers long term product development in PHP in an agile environment.  

The language of the development team and the client communication is in English, but some German language skills would be very useful.  

We expect good communication skills in English, positive attitude, along with a high level of commitment and responsibility, to be agile and dedicated to high quality work. 

Project Description 

Our project is a multi-country platform designed for vacation and accommodation bookings, facilitating the redemption of coupons, vouchers and membership cards. It includes features for the sale and distribution of coupons and membership cards, supported by market research. The platform also manages customer data for effective marketing and lifecycle engagement, ensuring a seamless and rewarding user experience. 

Requirements

Education 

• BSc / MSc degree in Computer Science, Information Engineering or a related subject or equivalent experience 

Experiences 

• 3+ years of experience as PHP Developer 

Knowledge / Skills  

• Excellent PHP coding skills 
• Experience with Symfony  
• Familiarity with front-end technologies, such as Angular, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 
• Good knowledge of Drupal and WordPress 
• Solid Object-Oriented programming skills 
• Good understanding of databases, noSQL & TransactionalDB 
• Basic CI / CD knowledge 

Soft skills 

• Good written & verbal communication skills (English, Hungarian) 
• Ability to work independently

• Contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle
